Presbyterian Women at FCPC

Presbyterian Women is an organization which provides opportunities for service through the Circles, Presbyterian Women's Fellowship, and Love-In-Deed Day.

The Circles are small groups which meet once each month for Bible study, fellowship and other opportunities for service. There are three day circles and one night circle.

Presbyterian Women's General Meetings offer a variety of programs for spiritual growth, community and mission awareness.

Love-In-Deed, which meets on the fifth Tuesday, is the name of workshops in which members work on projects for specific mission including Buffalo Gap Ministries, Hope Haven, Medical Care Mission, Menual School, Navajo Presbyterian Church in Leupp, Arizona, and especially Presbyterian Border Ministries.

PW of First Central Presbyterian participate with Presbyterian Women throughout the world in three special offerings: Thank Offering, Birthday Offering, and the Least Coin Offering.

PW participates in helping our church family by being hostess for special events/celebrations, in decorating the church for special seasons and in serving meals to families in times of illness, birth and grief. PW is women joining together to do what women seem to do best -- respond to the call of God.
