The Presbyterian Food Pantry provides food to needy families in Abilene weekly from 1-4 PM. If you are interested in helping out at the Food Pantry, contact the church office and we will get you more information about this vital mission effort.
Breakfast on Beech Street is a mission effort by several churches in the downtown area that serves a hot breakfast and sack lunch to needy individuals in the Abilene community. Thursdays are FCPC’s day to help out with BOBS. This effort is hosted by First Christian Church, and we welcome all those who are interested in helping to join us in serving the community.

HELP DECORATE OUR SANCTUARY! We still need flowers for Sunday worship even when we are not meeting in person. These flowers help decorate our sanctuary on Sunday mornings and are visible in our worship livestreams and recorded videos. Sanctuary flowers are a lovely way to honor or memorialize a loved one–your memorial or honorarium will be listed in the bulletin, which is made available for download alongside the online service. The cost for flowers is $90 which covers both arrangements for the sanctuary, and you can come by the church during the week to pick up the flowers if you would like. Call the office at 325-677-3501 to find out available dates and make a reservation.
